How we handle your files.
Learn how MediaTidy processes your images and handles access data, cookies and storage.
Last updated: October 11, 2026.
MediaTidy provides tools to compress, convert and resize images. This page explains what happens to your files and to data associated with accessing the site.
Your images stay on your device
Selected images and results are processed in your browser. We do not upload these files to our servers or to Cloudflare. We do not create an image history. Your original file is unchanged; the result is saved on your device when you request a download.
Hosting and access data
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you open a page, your browser connects to Cloudflare to receive the site files. This connection may involve technical data, such as your IP address, browser information and requested pages, used to deliver and protect the service. This does not include the content of the images you select. The provider’s policy, linked below, describes how Cloudflare handles this data.
Cookies, advertising and visit measurement
MediaTidy’s current code does not use cookies, save your preferences in persistent storage, or include ads or visitor analytics. The page address indicates the language. Your browser may retain cache and downloaded files according to its settings. Hosting services may process technical data independently of these application features.
How long are files available?
The application temporarily keeps the image and result in memory while the page is open. After reloading or closing the page, you will need to select your image again. Downloaded files remain on your device until you delete them. Retention of hosting-related technical data depends on the provider’s policies and configuration.
Changes to this page
If we add advertising, visit analytics or other features that change how data is handled, we will update this page and any applicable consent options before enabling them.
